Easy DIY boho chic hair tutorial

Today I was cleaning up my website (www.laurawheater.com) adding images, editing pages etc when I found an old blog post I had wrote and I have to say it's one of my favourite hair styles and is so easy to recreate that I wanted to add it to The Health and Beauty Bible; especially since mummyhood has been taking over lately and I've had less time to blog. Anyone else's child/children at that stage where they appear to have FOMO, sleep for 40 minutes MAX, and don't stop moving the entire duration of their wakefulness? Where do they get their energy?!

Back to the post in hand... I was on a shoot in October 2014 and we were shooting for a beautiful new, up and coming Manchester based clothing label called Sumayah Deria. Leading up to this day I was researching makeup and hair looks; a hair down and a hair up style was needed with quick changes between both. I'm pretty good at hair, but my forte is makeup. At this point in my career I hadn't officially trained in hair -  I had to leave my course early due to swollen limbs amongst other pregnancy related delights.

Amy at Sumayah Deria had emailed me some hair and makeup looks which I had also pinned on my beloved Pinterest. We both liked a low braided messy bun, but I needed it to look wide and thick... and it was here that I discovered a cheat... involving pig tails... interested?

Watch my video, captured by the fabulous Sumayah Deria! And don't forget to check out the label's site for luxury fashion pieces.
